Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of HACE Nation, a service operated by HACE LLC ('Company', 'we', 'us', or 'our'). By accessing and using the HACE Nation platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Age Requirement & Eligibility

The HACE Nation Marketplace platform is intended exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By registering on the platform — whether as a Client or as a Service Provider — you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. This requirement is in compliance with applicable labour laws governing the minimum age at which a person may legally enter into service contracts and engage in commercial work arrangements. HACE Nation reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account where it is found or reasonably suspected that the registered user is under 18 years of age. Persons under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from using, registering on, or accessing any part of the HACE Nation Marketplace platform.

3. Platform Services

HACE Nation provides a marketplace connecting clients with verified service providers. We facilitate matching, communication, payment processing, and quality assurance but do not directly provide services.

4. User Accounts

Users must register and maintain accurate account information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. Provider Verification

All providers undergo background checks and credential verification. HACE Nation reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that fail verification or violate platform policies.

6. Fees & Payments

Clients agree to pay: (1) The provider's labor fee, (2) A client processing fee (currently 5.9%), (3) Any applicable taxes or optional add-ons. HACE Nation deducts a 12% service fee from the provider's labor fee. Providers receive the remaining balance.

7. Escrow Payments

For eligible work orders, client payments may be held in an escrow-style pending status until the job is completed, approved, or resolved through our dispute or cancellation process. For users in North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom, escrow-related payment handling is provided through Stripe. For users in Africa, escrow-related payment handling is provided through Flutterwave.

8. Payment Processing

Payments are processed via third-party providers including Stripe and Flutterwave. HACE Nation is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, or payment networks.

9. Insurance

Providers are independent contractors and are responsible for maintaining any required insurance. Optional job-based insurance may be offered to clients at checkout and applies only to the selected work order.

10. Taxes

Providers are solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes in their jurisdiction. U.S. providers may receive IRS Form 1099-NEC. Non-U.S. providers receive annual earnings summaries.

11. Independent Contractor Status

Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between HACE Nation and any provider.

12. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by job status. Refunds are issued according to our dispute resolution process and may be subject to cancellation fees.

13. Disputes

Disputes must be filed within 7 days of job completion. HACE Nation will review evidence and make final binding decisions on dispute resolutions.

14. Liability

HACE Nation is not liable for provider performance, property damage, or injuries. Users agree to hold HACE Nation harmless from claims arising from platform use.

15. Prohibited Activities

Users may not engage in fraud, harassment, circumventing platform fees, or any illegal activities. Violations result in immediate account termination.

16. Changes to Terms

HACE Nation reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
